Crookwell Show report

The season has been the best for some years and entries to the Commercial and Prime Cattle section at Crookwell Show on Saturday 12 February reflected this. The judge, Steve Ridley of Elders Goulburn, was presented with cattle in prime condition for his scrutiny. There were 69 cattle entered by 13 exhibitors across Angus, Hereford, Limousin, Murray Grey and Santa Gertrudis breeds plus crossbreds. At Crookwell Show the commercial cattle always attract a good crowd of interested and…See More

Open Day Report - Cadfor Murray Greys The forecast said rain but ourOpen Day, Sunday 1st August, started fine and sunny, helping to dry out muddy yards. The first visitor arrived at 9.15 and the second not long after. We took the opportunity to take some photos because the clouds looked ominous. The third visitor made up his mind quickly and we had one bull sold. He is a commercial breeder who is now looking for some commercial Grey cows. The cars started arriving more frequently as the clouds…See More
